How to play Guess the Player

Choose classic, millennium, modern or mixed players. Identify ten portraits from four answers. Use a club hint and then a career-achievement hint if needed.
Make your choice using the on-screen controls. Read the feedback before moving on.
Replay to improve your score, or return to the game library to try a different challenge.

Scoring and hints

Ten questions, up to 30 points. A correct answer earns 3 points, minus 1 for each of the two hints used. Wrong answers and skips earn 0. Your best score is saved on this device.

Worked example

A correct answer without hints earns 3 points; after both hints it earns 1.

Controls and saved progress

Use the on-screen buttons with touch or a pointer, or Tab and Enter with a keyboard. Follow any shortcut labels shown in the game. Saved best scores are local to this browser; they do not sync between devices.
